Visit Your Skyline is a Sri Lanka-based travel company designing private journeys for two kinds of traveller: those who want cultural depth and clean itinerary structure, and those who want to spend two weeks in motion. We plan every journey around the traveller taking it, and around the journey they’ll want to remember it by.

Two kinds of traveller come to us. Both leave with something they didn’t expect to find.

Visit Your Skyline was built around a simple observation: that the travellers who get the most from Sri Lanka are the ones who arrive with the right structure. The cultural traveller who knows which temples to visit in which order and at what time of day. The adventurous traveller who has the right safari guide, the reserved train seat and the surf lesson booked before the swell changes. We provide that structure for both.

What We Do

Private journeys across Sri Lanka - cultural heritage circuits, wildlife expeditions, highland railway adventures, surf coast trails and the complete island loop. Every itinerary is designed around the traveller taking it - their pace, their interests, their tolerance for early mornings and their specific version of a perfect day.

Our Photography Philosophy

The Best Light brief

Every itinerary we design includes what we call the Best Light brief: a note on the three or four photography moments in that specific journey — the exact position, the ideal time and the composition that most photographers miss. This applies equally to a 5-night cultural circuit and a 13-night adventure loop. Photography is not an optional extra in a Visit Your Skyline journey. It is built into the design.

Who We Are

Visit Your Skyline is run by a small, Sri Lanka-based team who have spent years working across the island’s hotels, safari camps, heritage sites and hill-country railways before turning that experience into a travel company of their own. That background shows in the detail: knowing which lodge has the better angle on a reservoir, which guide reads leopard tracks best, and which carriage side gets the light on the Nanu Oya to Ella run. It’s the kind of knowledge a booking platform can’t replicate, because it comes from being on the ground, season after season, not from a spreadsheet of listed hotels.

The two-market structure of Visit Your Skyline - Sacred & Cultural Journeys on one side, Adventure & Discovery on the other - reflects how the team has always seen Sri Lanka: as an island that rewards precision as much as spontaneity. Every itinerary, whichever side it comes from, is built and reviewed by people who have actually made the drive, taken the climb, or sat in the jeep at 5.30am to check the light.
